Ghent, Belgium – July 9th, 2025 – Belgian startup Cashfeed has raised €1.3 million in seed funding to scale its AI-powered e-invoicing platform. The round was led by Pitchdrive, with participation from StarApps and support from VLAIO.
Launched in March 2025, Cashfeed is building the next generation of e-invoicing agents—designed for speed, automation, and compliance. With Belgium set to mandate e-invoicing by 2026, the startup is seizing the moment to help businesses future-proof their finance operations.
Cashfeed replaces manual input, fragmented systems, and email chasing with a seamless, AI-driven process. Invoices are pulled automatically from inboxes, Peppol, or supplier portals; payments are triggered in one click; and unpaid outgoing invoices are tracked and followed up in real time.
“Our mission is to remove the friction from invoicing,” says Dennis Verjans, co-founder of Cashfeed. “SMEs and accountants waste hours each week on repetitive tasks—Cashfeed brings that down to minutes.”
Cashfeed AI agents also support accountants by extracting key data from invoices and linking it to the correct VAT codes and ledger accounts. It integrates directly with tools like Exact Online.
Since launch, the company has signed 350+ customers and processed more than 31,000 invoices. The team has grown to seven people.
Alongside the funding round, Cashfeed is announcing a new partnership with the accountancy and consulting firm Baker Tilly. The firm will provide strategic guidance to Cashfeed and is actively testing the platform with its clients.
“Cashfeed fits perfectly into our growing digitalization strategy,” says Steff Siau, Partner and certified tax accountant at Baker Tilly. “Today, advisory firms still spend too much time chasing clients for receipts or VAT submissions. A solution like Cashfeed delivers immediate value—entrepreneurs are fully relieved of the administrative burden, and we can focus more on our role as advisors.”
With e-invoicing set to become mandatory in Belgium by 2026 and the EU’s broader ViDA framework approaching, demand for compliant, efficient invoicing tools is set to surge. Cashfeed is positioning itself as the go-to solution for the Belgian market—and beyond.
“In the short term, we’re fully focused on leveraging this regulatory shift,” says co-founder Stijn Heuninck. “Our goal is to become the go-to reference for smart invoicing in Belgium. Then we scale across Europe. By 2030, many other European countries will also be required to comply with ViDA regulations on e-invoicing. That opens up exciting opportunities.”
Cashfeed, a Belgian fintech startup, is revolutionizing e-invoicing by automating incoming and outgoing invoicing flows through agentic AI. The company stands out by embedding AI at the core of its product, seamlessly integrating it with deep, native connections to accounting systems.
